The European Journal of Studies in Management and Business (MBRQ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to the advancement of theory and practice in the fields of management and business. Published by EUROKD, the journal serves as a dynamic forum for researchers, practitioners, and educators to share high-quality, original research.

Aims and Scope

European Journal of Studies in Management and Business (Formerly Management and Business Research Quarterly) is a peer-reviewed open access scholarly journal, that publishes internationally leading research across all areas of management and business. The journal is a venue for research that demonstrates robust new research methods and which report findings that have significant and clear implications for practitioners. The primary objective of MBRQ is to bridge the gap between academic research and practical application. We welcome contributions that explore the shifting landscapes of global business, organizational development, and strategic management. While the journal maintains a strong focus on the European context, we actively encourage comparative studies and research with global implications. The Journal publishes articles reporting research with a main focus on:

International Business and Management, Managerial issues in Business Context, New Challenges in Business, Methods and approaches in Management and Business, Strategic Management in business and management. Submissions should not only be methodologically sound, but also have significant innovative implications for researchers and practitioners. We also encourage researchers to submit original research papers concerning the ongoing issues in management and business. Since 2021 to new sections have been added to the journal as Short communications and Book Review.

MBRQ publishes 4 issues per year and is a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal, involving at least two reviewers.

The journal is partly supported, both financially and scientifically, by EURASIA INSTITUTE FOR EMERGING MANAGEMENT SCIENCES. Through this collaboration, we strive to maintain high academic standards while ensuring broad dissemination of knowledge.

Business Model and Financial Support

The publication costs for the European Journal of Studies in Management and Business are fully subsidized by our publisher, EUROKD Egitim danismanlik group, in collaboration with our various sponsors. This financial support ensures that high-quality research remains accessible to everyone without financial barriers.

This financial model is made possible through the generous support of our institutional sponsors. Through formal agreements with the Australian International Academic Centre (AIAC, Agreement No. 10.11.9854), EMSEI (Agreement No. 119/432), and the Business Education Department of EUROKD, our essential operational costs are fully subsidized. These sponsorships cover the expenses associated with Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registration, digital archiving, plagiarism detection software, and other vital infrastructure requirements.

However, because the journal operates on a strictly limited budget provided by these sponsors, our financial and operational capacities are constrained. Consequently, MBRQ operates on a quarterly publication schedule and is limited to publishing a maximum of 5 to 6 articles per issue. This restriction ensures that we can maintain rigorous quality control and high editorial standards for every published manuscript without exceeding our funding limits.
